Overview of Stanford

Stanford University has the sixth largest university campus in America. From 2017 to 2018, Stanford University was listed second on the ARWU and QS world university ratings. Stanford also came third on The Times Higher Education Listings and the USNEWS university listings. Stanford University is also the main source of new talent for companies in Silicon Valley, and many graduates go on to become leaders in innovation and founders of companies such as HP, Google, Nike, Logitech, Snapchat, NVIDIA, LinkedIn etc.

Intro to Stanford’s Technology Camp

Stanford University Technology Camp is for students aged 10-17. The course is designed to encourage students to observe, discover, and improve their ability to analyse and solve problems. During the first week the team leaders will take the students to Silicon Valley as well as a visit to some of the top schools in the area. This is in order to encourage the students to understand themselves on a deeper level, learn new things, develop, and help them discover their creative skills. The second week the students will enrol into a week of classes at Stanford University. They will attend all sorts of technology related classes that are designed to improve the student’s thinking and innovation. Students can choose classes such as: robotics, computer programming, game development, design etc.
